Eurojackpot is one of Europe’s most popular transnational lottery games, launched in 2012 and now played across 18 European countries. The game features a simple yet challenging format: players must match 5 numbers from a pool of 50 plus 2 Euro numbers from a pool of 12 to win the jackpot. Draws take place every Tuesday and Friday in Helsinki, with jackpots starting at €10 million and capable of rolling over to a maximum of €120 million.

Our analysis employs descriptive statistics and data visualization techniques to examine the Eurojackpot draw history. We present factual observations about past draws while acknowledging the fundamental principle that each draw is an independent random event.
All visualizations and calculations are implemented using R and its data visualization packages, providing both statistical detail and visual clarity.
Important Note: This analysis examines historical data only. Lottery draws are designed to be random events, and past results cannot predict future outcomes. This content is provided purely for informational and educational purposes.
